Dance project
Through a combination of professional performances, educational programs and workshops, young people are encouraged to explore self-expression, creativity and connection through dance.
Hosted in the Grote Kerk Veere, Zeeland’s only flat-floor theatre, these projects bring together heritage, art, culture and social engagement in a unique and inspiring setting.
Students, young asylum seekers and volunteers actively participate in inclusive dance initiatives that strengthen cultural exchange, talent development and community involvement.
By supporting this initiative, Stichting de Boomgaard contributes to transforming heritage locations into dynamic meeting places and helps strengthen the cultural climate in Zeeland.
Zeeuws Talenten podium
Additionally, Stichting de Boomgaard supports the Zeeuws Talentpodium: a stage for young creators aged 15–27 launching in 2026 at the Grote Kerk Veere. Through music, dance and spoken word, participants gain professional guidance, stage experience and opportunities for personal and artistic development.
Together with partners such as Podium-Z, Popaanzee and Kunstbende, the project connects emerging talent from across Zeeland. Thanks to multi-year support from Stichting de Boomgaard, the initiative can be sustainably developed between 2026 and 2028.
