Special youth programme at a heritage festival - EUR 20,000 (2 December 2024)
In the Dutch Gooi & Vecht region several museums, foundations, libraries and other cultural institutions work together. At annual heritage festivals they bring the local stories and experiences to life on fortresses, unique artists' villages and the history of national media. The third festival in 2025 is about creative makers, entrepreneurs and architects. There will be exhibitions, podwalks, lectures, educational programmes and much more for visitors to discover the region.
The funding supports an educational programme for young people. All children aged 8 to 12 receive a drawing activity book that helps them to develop their own creative talents. We want to encourage the creator in every child, based on heritage stories in their own living environment.
