Exhibition Artists Against the Kremlin – EUR 7,500 (28 May 2024)

In August 2024, The Moscow Times together with All Rights Reversed gallery and De Balie art center organized the exhibition “Artists Against the Kremlin”. It became the world's largest exhibition of anti-war and dissident Russian-speaking artists: more than 150 original works, as well as more than 200 multimedia and digital works. These works were brought to Amsterdam from more than 30 countries, including Russia and Ukraine.

The exhibition was visited by more than 5,000 people and included four sold-out public talks with participating artists and filmmakers. The exhibition was supported by the Amsterdam City Hall, Stichting de Boomgaard, WEJansenfonds, Nederlands Letterenfonds and more than 100 private sponsors. A new Artists Against the Kremlin will be organised again in Amsterdam in 2025 and hopefully in other cities and countries.

The catalogue of dissident art opposing the Kremlin's authoritarianism and Russia's war in Ukraine can be ordered here.
