Expanding Essential Support for Families Across the UK
Initial funding helped cover warehousing and distribution costs in Fife, enabling the delivery of basic hygiene products and household essentials to vulnerable families. By the end of 2024, this effort reached 500,000 families, distributing 5 million essential items such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and deodorant.
A €30,000 donation in December 2024 funded the successful Multibank Christmas Campaign, which focused on combating hygiene poverty across the UK. Supported by actor Peter Capaldi and fans from 15 Premier League football and rugby clubs, fans donated hygiene products upon entering stadiums. These were then distributed to families in need via the Multibank network.
Looking forward to 2025, the National Family Centre will run a Kits for Kids - Campaign from June through September. This will equip 10.500 children with fully stocked backpacks, including school supplies, uniforms, and sneakers to boost kids’ confidence and ensure a strong start of the school year and alleviate worries for their families.
