THINK NOW: Empowering Youth to participate in the Climate debate
The THINK NOW team sparks public debate and builds support for adding sustainability to primary and secondary school curricula in the Netherlands.
In April 2024, THINK NOW organized a Youth Think Tank on Pampus Island, bringing together 20 students and 12 teachers to co-create climate solutions. Guided by Climate General Tom Middendorp, the participants documented their journey through video diaries. The experience – and what followed – has been captured in a documentary co-produced by the students in collaboration with a small professional team, placing young voices and perspectives at its heart.
Looking ahead to September 9, 2025, THINK NOW will screen The Climate general and the youngsters at Amsterdam’s Tuschinski Theater, hosted by Harm Edens.
THINK NOW continues to collaborate with educators, industry, policymakers, religious leaders, and citizens to create meaningful sustainability education for the next generation.
